This article was emailed to me by a friend of mine. It is a copy of the Court's transcripts regarding the "shoe bomber" terrorist. Remember the guy who got on a plane with a bomb built into his shoe and tried to light it? Did you know his trial is over? Did you know he was sentenced? Did you see/hear any of the judge's comments on TV/Radio? Didn't think so. Everyone should hear what the judge had to say. Ruling by Judge William Young, US District Court. Prior to sentencing, ...

Yes it a new year. People say what a great thing it is. What new joys and oppertunites will come our way. Great experiances and memories we can build anew. Yeah thats all true I guess but that is what the victims of the disaster thought. I guess the point that comes to me, in my freakshow of a mind, is that you should never count on what may come your way, just enjoy what has.

I have heard many things about seperation of Church and State and so on. I full agree with that, we do NOT need a Theocracy however I feel that a political leader should never "side-line" his or her faith because of the office they occupy. For me there is no Religion vs. Politics issue. I feel that religion is a very important aspect of politics. It helps you have a better understanding of the person and thier particular views. Politicians should NEVER use thier faith or religion as a ...

I find it quite interesting that Scott Peterson was convicted of 2nd degree murder of his unborn child Connor. Thats what abortion is, the death of an unborn child. Is the difference that its mother didnt chose to kill the child and so there for it was murder. If so, then it is a logical conclusion that if Scott Peterson is guilty of the murder of his unborn child, then the killing of ANY unborn child is murder. Oh wait, I guess its NOT murder if it is premeditatied, and only by the mother. ...

Hi. I've always been interested in riddles. I think it helps one (me) to excercise my mind and to try and think "out of the box". My neurologist said it might be helpful if I tried to learn riddles as it may help to stimulate parts of my mind that are damaged right now. So I figured why not. So, quite simply im asking for riddles and if for some reason its not figured out. I would like the answer unless, of course, you feel that you don't want to provide the answer. I'll start it off in th...

I have seen much about the role that Religion should or shouldn't have in Government. I've read the comments and the concerns and the "facts" that some claim about that issue. For some quick back ground, I am preparing myself for the Permenent Deaconate in the Roman Catholic Church. I would try to become a Priest but as I am married, and current Church law forbids married Clergy, I will go with the Deaconate. I have studied for quite some time. Studied theology, mythology, religious histor...

At the onset of the Civil War, those states that decided to leave the Union created their own flag, primarily based on the British flag, but unique nontheless. This "nation" was never officially validated by any country and particularly our own. A look at history indicates that whenever a nation suffers a civil war, the defeated side is never allowed to display it's flag anywhere, and it is unthinkable to fly that flag over a Government Building. Not withstanding some people's insistanc...

This has been a problem plaguing my family for quite some time now and no resolution has come about, so I figured Id just get it all ........(ok, most) of it out here. The subject of concern is my aunt Cathy. She had always been an important figure in my life. She took me in when my mother and I had our " I hate you" type argument. ( true one of very many, but I was older and less intimidated). I have always know that Cathy is a two, if not more, faced person. Ive experienced it personnal...

Your eyes still haunt me, from time to time. Sometimes my senses are shocked, as your laughter still echos in my mind. your smile is now hung above the entrance to my heart and my memories still exist and are painted upon the walls. Every wild flower holds you scent. Your place is set at the grand table, it always will be. My other guests sit for our last meal, I fear your seat will remain empty and cold forever. Memories still tortured by thought. Nothing can change the past. Even ...

Mr. Moore is among the growing number of Americans who trash our nation, our Military, and our Domestic and National Polices. "Bowling for Colombine" was an interesting film and raised many serious questions that should be addresed but nevertheless it portrayed the majority of Americans as gun toteing, inherantly violent, and aboslutly ignorant and/or unwilling to change the status quo of our nation. This is greatly emphaised by my Japanese pen-pal writing to me asking if Mr. Moore's stateme...

I never really considered the phrase "the best day of my life" I didn't give it much credit but now I do. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, are the best days of my life. Let me tell you why; While I was deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom I developed debilitating headaches. I NEVER had headaches not to mention, blurred vision, fall into near fetal position, headaches. I spoke to my medic about it and he attributed it to stress but he referred me to my unit's PA and he also attributed it to ...

WASHINGTON (Oct. 16) - Relatives of soldiers who refused to deliver supplies in Iraq say the troops considered the mission too dangerous, in part because their vehicles were in poor shape. The Army is investigating up to 19 reservist members of a platoon that is part of the 343rd Quartermaster Company, based in Rock Hill, S.C. The unit delivers food, water and fuel on trucks in combat zones. Convoys in Iraq are frequently subject to ambushes and roadside bombings. Some of the troops'...

So the Presidential elections are three weeks away. Oh boy. According to Army Times, the vast majority of military personnel, across the Services, are planning on voting for President Bush. I can understand why, Bush has increased Military Pay rates, gave the Military the authority to offer more and better incentives for re- enlistment and so on. However, the simple fact that President Bush forced our Army to go to war, with Rumsfelds insistance that we need only a few combat...
